Mr. Shen had been working in former Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Domestic Trade dealing with storage and transport industrial management from 1983 to 1998. In 1992, he hosted and demonstrated the experimental scheme for the first batch of logistics distribution centers in China. In 1996, he took up the post of the deputy secretary-general of the Developing and Construction Experts Consulting Committee of the Commodity Logistics Distribution Center of the Ministry of Domestic Trade. In 1997, he became the deputy director of the leadership committee office of the Commodity Logistics Distribution Center of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and the secretary-general of China Warehouse and Storage Association in 1998. In March 1999, he proposed and organized the foundation of HurryTop Logistics Co., Ltd. and took the post of the general manager. In July 2000, he became the general manager of Huayun Logistics Industry Cooperation.

Mr. Shen Shaoji gets high attainment in the field of logistics theory, and has been committing himself to changing the traditional storage and transport industry to modern logistics. He has dozens of articles on logistics published. "Suggestions on the Development and Construction of Commodity Logistics (Distribution) Center", mainly written by him and delivered as the document of Ministry of Commerce, and "Some Ideas on Developing Logistics Distribution Center ", jointly written with others are still the guidance and reference for many transport and logistics enterprises to develop modern logistics distribution. "The Analytical Report of Supply & Demand in the Logistics Market in China", published respectively in the year of 1999,2000 and 2001 has been quite influential in the industry. He knows well of the situation of international logistics development. "Survey on the Logistics Management and Technology of U.S.A." mainly written by him in 1997 had been transmitted around China as the reference document of the Ministry of Domestic Trade. Mr. Shen is the famous logistics expert in China.
